I LOVE Christmas Cards

I absolutely love sending and receiving Christmas cards. Do you?

I like getting them because its something different in the mail. Its not a bill for once! Sending them is a different thing. I leave that up to my mom.

YES!!!!

With email and IMing and all this instant communication the art of a fine written note is rare. My grandmother was once of the last few who took the time to write beautiful letters. Lately, the only personal correspondence I get are thank you cards and xmas cards. I love it!

PS When do you think you'll start doing your own xmas cards, Brooke?

I have no idea. I still need to put together an address book. I don't even have one of those!

Yes I know but I will always be a part of my family. I feel maybe once I am engaged or married then I can send them. Hehe just kidding. I will make that my goal next year. My goal is also to send out birthday cards to my loved ones. So if you don't have your birthday on Geni you better get it on there!

I love getting Christmas cards and even the letters that most etiquette concience people think are taboo. It is a way to update those we don't stay in touch with through the year.
I do a letter for the same reason. I don't have time to write the same thing over and over.

I agree, Sue. I love a letter in the mail whether it be personally written or a mass produced one. I love to hear about other people's lives. And the fact that they thought to share their life with me is the most important.
